Died August 3, 2021

CMSGT King served for 30 years in the USAF. She was promoted at a special ceremony at her son’s college basktball game. She is survived by her son and daughter.


SGTE Holli Rose Bolinski, USAR

from Pinckneyville IL age 37

657TH TRANSPORTATION CO, 419TH TRANSPORTATION BATTALION, 103RD SUSTAINMENT CMD MT VERNON IL

Died 5 March 2019 Kuwait

SGTE Bolinski was a mother of 5 children who enjoyed crocheting, being outdoors, and gardening.  She worked as a unit administrator and is survived by her husband and children.

 

SGT Christina Schoenecker USAR

From Arlington KS Age 26

387TH HUMAN RESOURCES COMPANY, 329TH CSSB, 89TH SUSTAINMENT BRIGADE, WICHITA

Died 19 FEB 2019 Baghdad

SGT Schoenecker died in a non-combat related incident. She enlisted in May 2009 and served as a human resources specialist.

SSGT Alexandria Morrow, USAF

From Dansville NY Ag 25

366TH AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE SQUADRON, MOUNTAIN HOME AFB, ID

Died 22 MAR 2017 Jordan

SSGT Morrow was injured while performing maintenance duties during non-combat operations. She is survived by her two children and spouse.

 

SCPO Shannon Kent, USN

From Plattsburgh NY Age 35

CYBER WARFARE ACTIVITY SIXTY SIX SYRIA CENTCOM

Died 16 Jan 2019

SCPO Kent was the noncommissioned officer in charge at the National Security Agency’s operations directorate for four years and deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria. She was fluent in Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Arabic.  A mother of two, she is survived by her husband and sons.

LTJG Sarah Mitchell, USN

From Oakford PA, age 23

USS JASON DUNHAM (DDG 109),  Red Sea

Died 08 JUL 2018

LTJG Mitchell was serving as the RHIB boat officer and died in a training accident. A graduate of Virginia Tech and the Core of Cadets, she is survived by a “large loving family.”

1LT Tobar died in a non-combat related incident. Born in Venezuela, she lived most of her life in Florida and graduated from Florida State University. She is survived by her parents and brother.
